Consulate General of Denmark in New York

Session 12: Talking Inclusivity: Exploring Perspectives, Frontiers & Opportunities

3:30-6:00PM (Attendees access from 3:15PM)

At this session, we explore inclusivity by engaging with stakeholders from different parts of society. From grassroots movements to NGO’s, from city to country governments, we hope to inspire and engage the audience and open the doors to new ways of working with inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in various aspects of society.

The event will start and end with a Hands are for Holding® dance performance by Gibney Community Action who aims at bringing together communities by working at the intersection of art and social justice to build momentum and catalyse action beyond the studio and stage.

Talking Inclusivity – Exploring Perspectives, Frontiers & Opportunities aims at creating an alternative debate that is truly relevant for the audience, where we assess challenges and solutions and reflect upon how far or behind we may be.

The session will end with an informal reception where participants and panelists have the chance to continue the conversation and network while enjoying a beverage and the views from the High Line
